Tohru Kanayama--visual artist/pax cd designer
Lives and works in Astoria, NY USA
Tohru Kanayama was born in 1966 in Tokyo, Japan. His father was a professor of computer science, and his mother, a professional flutist. After living for a year  in Chicago at the age of 12, he moved permanently to the United States in 1985 at the age of 18. He then started his formal art education at Cornell University, and received his B.F.A. degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He now lives and works in New York City. Tohru has designed several CDs for Pax recordings.
